Tokens and Trifles

Stitching on paper is an old art and thanks to Tokens and Trifles we are now able to use the best paper to work on, in a high count (20 count) and they even supply a mountain of designs for you to try. What I like even more is that most of their cards have a “aged” look and a white version.

For Zwolle we made kits out of their rectangular shape with Gloriana Cranberry hand dyed silk. It was a breeze to stitch and it gives such a beautiful result.

I just love the backstitch alphabet on this design. Can be used for many other things as well. I am going to put up all the different shapes we have in the next 2 weeks. If you’ve never tried it, indulge yourself and give it a go.
