Primitive Snowflakes

I can finally share one of my finishes from the past weeks. This was so much fun to do. I designed the pattern for the Stacy Nash Primitives Yahoogroup Christmas party (that’s a lot of words after another) and stitched it on the train to our stitching group a few weeks ago.

It is stitched on 18 count perforated paper from French, which I distressed, though you can hardly see that. I used Cranberry silk from Gloriana, 2 strands and had a ball. I originally wanted to stitch it in two colors of antique blue but as I didn’t bring that with me, this is how it turned out.

I’m over to the (virtual) party and have some eggnog :). Enjoy your evening or day whenever you read this.
